Every dog has a story.
And I don't share it to satisfy curiosity — I share it to honour the dog behind it.
When people start looking for a puppy, they are usually not just looking for a dog — they are looking for a future family member.
And because of that, trust between breeder and owner is everything, at least for me.
We have always tried to build our kennel around this idea.
I want to trust the people who take my puppies home, and I also want them to feel that they can always count on me.
Because of this, I knew that the next puppy joining us had to come from somewhere that shares the same values.
Some people might think I am in a lucky position.
Being a Hungarian Vizsla breeder in Hungary — the homeland of the breed — you would think I can choose from endless amazing dogs.
And yes, that is partly true. But over the years I realized something: many of the dogs I personally admire most are often found outside of Hungary.
Maybe this is also because I never liked just following trends.
I prefer to think independently, even if it sometimes means going a different direction than others.
That is why I have been traveling abroad for years, using foreign stud dogs of import females and why our next puppy also comes from outside Hungary.
And still, I think that is the beautiful part of it — even though she was not born here, she carries very strong Hungarian roots and bloodlines in her pedigree.
Honestly, I am really happy with this decision.
She is extremely intelligent, very funny, sweet, balanced, confident, and just a very easy puppy to live with and love.
The most special part though?I bought her for Noa's 18th birthday.
Normally I always say dogs should never be birthday presents or emotional impulse decisions.
A dog should always be a serious, personal choice.
So yes… maybe I bent my own rule a little bit here.
But Noa has grown up with Hungarian Vizslas her entire life.
For 18 years she has lived with them every day, and I have watched her slowly develop a really good eye, good instincts, and a genuine understanding of dogs.
Even my most challenging Vizslas would calm down in her hands.
Because of that, for the first time, I felt completely comfortable doing something I normally wouldn't recommend.
Maybe deep down, I also hope she will continue with this breed one day on her owns, and use everything she has learned for the future of Hungarian Vizslas.
This turned out to be a longer story than I expected.
But this is Lily's story.
Bred by Edyta Wróbel Inshyer Kennel Poland, thank you for your trust in placing this puppy with me!
